A neighbor in the apartment building next door has a cat named Loki (so says Loki's tag). One day last Fall, Loki started hanging out on our patio -- we think he was intrigued by the cats inside the screen door. Loki is now a regular visitor, spending at least a couple hours on our patio almost every day. Teaser and the Firecat mostly ignore him, although they occasionally will sit and stare at him through the screen door.

We've never fed Loki at all -- he seems to be well taken care of by his owners. We occasionally open the screen door a crack and stick a cat toy through to play with him, which he seems to like. Since it gets cold at night, Elina thought it would be nice to give him the option of a little warm shelter so she put our cats' old teepee-shaped scratching thing out on the patio a few days ago. Much to my surprise tonight, as I turned out the light for the evening, I looked down to see Loki's head peeking out of the pyramid at me. He seems to be sleeping there. Very cute, pictures below.
