Since I am working on a physics PhD I figured I should act all intellectual and stuff so here are some random things I've written down/done. Not really very high-brow I suppose but it proves that I'm not a normal member of society.

physics problems

• Point mass on a circular ramp - Simple mechanics problem solved numerically using Lagrange formalism.
  

neat stuff

• Image of Venus' transit - Photo of Venus' 2004 transit of the sun Matt Reynolds and I took using a cheap binocular-based pinhole camera. Pretty low quality, I admit, and just the very end of the egress, but it's still SCIENCE.
